Our
dogs are not outdoor kennel dogs. They are whelped and
housed indoors and play outdoors. All dogs are crate
trained, vaccinated, wormed and all health records kept
up to date.
Each
dog is exercised daily to maintain healthy muscle tone
and to promote socialization among other dogs. We feel
this relieves boredom and stress that dogs can experience
when kept penned up for too long.
Since
Prairiefire is not a commercial breeder, we only breed
a few litters a year. We look at potential Sires or
Dams carefully and consider only quality individuals
who will improve our own lines and the lines of other
breeders.
Our
puppies are carefully placed into homes where we know
they will be loved and cared for as a life-time commitment.
